Lee is the Associate Director of The Egg- Theatre Royal Bath and a Freelance Theatre Director.
Lee draws on a wide range of influences and directs playful, visually inventive and often irreverent productions, whilst maintaining the integrity of the script or source material. Lee thrives on tackling the impossible and creating theatre that is as exhilarating and unpredictable as a football match.
Productions directed for Theatre Royal Bath include The Nutcracker and the epic production of Ben Hur, featuring a cast of 180. Lee also directs The Egg Theatre’s Christmas productions which have included Around the World in 80 Days and The French Detective and the Blue Dog.
Away from Bath Lee has directed plays for Hull Truck, Bristol Old Vic, Tobacco Factory, Unicorn and the Watermill Theatre.
Other credits also include work for Southwark Playhouse and Sheffield Crucible.
